Common questions
The questions teams usually ask before a walkthrough. Anything else, just ask on the call.
Does Sentieria run on-premises or hosted?
Both. Sentieria is browser-based and containerized, so you can run it on your own infrastructure, inside your network, or have us host it, whichever your policies require.
What does monitoring require on my network?
A lightweight network agent runs inside each monitored segment, reads your SNMP devices over the network, and pushes results out over a single outbound HTTPS connection. Nothing is installed on the monitored devices, and there are no inbound firewall rules to approve.
Which devices can Sentieria monitor?
Any network-capable SNMP device, vendor-agnostic: power strips, panels, UPS systems, transfer switches, generators, environmental sensors, network switches, and servers. There is no vendor-approved catalog to wait on.
How often does Sentieria read my equipment?
As often as you choose. You set the polling period, in seconds, on each monitoring profile, so each group of devices is read on its own schedule.
How long does deployment take?
Sentieria installs as a modern containerized application. You can start modeling sites, racks, and assets as soon as it's running, and templates with bulk creation get your inventory in fast. If you have your facility's drawings, our team can build your model from them.
How is Sentieria licensed?
One license covers every feature. There are no editions or add-on modules, nothing is metered, and users and sites are unlimited.
How is access to the platform controlled?
Granular role-based access control sets permissions per module and action. Every change lands in a field-level audit log you can revert, and built-in backup and recovery protects your data.
